Annabel Upton - Personal Profile

Hi, I'm Annabel Upton and I am the founder and owner of Lifestyle Property Investments (LPI).

I have a degree in Business Management and a previous career in corporate Procurement managing the risk and strategy of a portfolio budget +£30 Million. This was for a UK wide market leading food manufacturing company - investment company owned funnily enough.

I worked in corporate procurement for around 7 years.

Since 2020  I've gained hands on experience in the property world investing and developing houses with my partner Richard (Owner of LPS), from flip properties to Buy to Lets which is where our personal strategy sat. 

As a result of our success and passion for the wider property industry, I have left my procurement career and am now fully invested and focused on LPI, creating property opportunities for investors like us in the Doncaster area using all my previous wider business and personal property knowledge.

Category Manager (Procurement)

Procurement professional managing a portfolio of +£30million focusing on strategy, risk management, relationship management of both internal and external key stakeholders as well as the overall responsibility of category strategy and overall budget.

My portfolio entailed over 500 individual products (SKU's) spanning 11 different categories and were serviced by around 45 different incumbent suppliers with additional as dual sourced.

This position was split across 4 manufacturing sites across two countries and in organigram terms positioned me at senior level.

Plastering Course covering Dry Wall, Skimming and Bonding - completed in order to be able to plastering in our own projects and streamline our project time lines- and because I said "I bet I could do that to Richard" so had to win the bet - I did!

Buyer managing a global portfolio of +£8m specialising in overseas imports from Asia.

Along with the general day role of managing the portfolio it was my responsibility to feed market trajectory and analysis information through to appropriate stake holders or answering/ supporting customer negotiations and lastly aiding sales team in price increase conversations through market knowledge, I also achieved a number of results through internal projects through a business development approach focusing on continuous improvement.
